Origin.

Early Classic → (200 to 600 AD): The development of the Teotihuacan urbanization is consolidated, being the largest city and without any similarity in any of the pre-Hispanic cultures, reaching 20 square kilometres with up to 150,000 inhabitants. There is a bias in the different social ranks and public administration, construction and food production are developed.

→ Late Classic (from 600 to 900 A.D.): The destabilization of the city causes the destruction of the city and abandonment. The registration of society decreases to 30,000 inhabitants, and in the basin a reorganization of the social system is carried out.

Opening hours: The archaeological site is open every day of the year and, if there is an eventuality, it is published on the official channels. It opens at 8:00 am and closes at 05:00 pm. Museums open at 9:00 am and close at 4:30 pm.
